Install DataMoat

Start backing up AI work history on macOS, Windows, or Linux.

Mac users should start with the signed macOS DMG. Windows users can use the ZIP + DataMoat.exe packages. Linux and development installs can use the source path.

Source install

Use source install for Linux, local development, or macOS fallback when the packaged build is unavailable.

git clone https://github.com/max-ng/datamoat.git
cd datamoat
bash install.sh
datamoat

After install

Complete password, authenticator, recovery phrase, and recovery-code setup on the protected desktop.
Run datamoat status to check capture state.
Run datamoat scan when you want to force a rescan of supported source files.
Run datamoat audit verify to verify the local audit chain.
